Since 1993 the Vervet Monkey Foundation has rescued, rehabilitated and released vervet monkeys in Limpopo. Today we give lifelong sanctuary to over 600 primates – orphaned, injured, ex-laboratory, or surrendered as pets.
Feeding them costs R120,000 a month. That bill arrives whether donations do or not.

It costs R250,000 a month to run the Foundation – about R8,200 a day, or R417 per monkey. We are 100% vegan and run on 80% solar. We were the first sanctuary in Africa accredited by GFAS.

Gift Aid lets us reclaim 25p from HMRC on every £1 you give. A £20 donation becomes £25. It costs you nothing.
